Description

Our hardware administrators will be very grateful if we implement LLDP on our servers. They will see things on the switches.

Proposal

  • Package name: lldpad

  • Requested configuration made by client:

    lldptool set-lldp -i <interface> adminStatus=rxtx
lldptool -T -i <interface> -V sysName enableTx=yes
lldptool -T -i <interface> -V portDesc enableTx=yes

    I have no idea if it is necessary to use command line to configure it. I hope not, I HAVE NOT checked this!
